Shelley Thomson

Co-founder & Director, Patient Experience Agency

Shelley Thomson is a former allied health professional dedicated to transforming patient experiences. Shelley co-founded Patient Experience Agency to help primary care practices, specialists, aged care, disability providers and government agencies co-design better services by 
utilising a human-centred approach and gathering experience data and insights to improve outcomes. She is also an author, facilitator and keynote speaker, advocating for value-based, outcome-driven care.
 

Dr. Rav Fernando

CEO, QuantCare

Dr. Rav is a psychological scientist with a PhD in psychology from the University of Melbourne. Her research specialises in attitude and behaviour change and understanding the fundamental question – “why do people do what they do?”. Having experienced chronic pain and undergoing intensive treatment, Rav was inspired to use her research and data analysis skills to pick up potential “at-risk” patients early in the treatment journey. This resulted in QuantCare – a platform to help healthcare providers use the power of data to practise patient-centred care and improve their business at the same time. Her mission is to bring the patient voice into clinical practice and help healthcare providers use data for good.

Anja Christoffersen

Consumer Representative and Founder & CEO, Champion Health Agency & Women with Disabilities Entrepreneur Network (WDEN)

Anja is an award-winning disability advocate, social entrepreneur and consumer representative, named one of the International Day of People with Disability Ambassadors for 2023. Anja’s ventures, including Champion Health Agency and the Women with Disabilities Entrepreneur Network (WDEN), focus on creating sustainable opportunities for leadership, autonomy and social and economic participation for people with disabilities, driven by the community and inspired by her lived experience. Anja is a model, speaker, author and using her lived experience has consulted, co-led and engaged in projects across health, government, research, corporate and not-for-profit sectors.
